Cameron tries to steal UKIP Education Policy

UKIP sixth formIt was only in 2007 that David Cameron decried the creation of any new Grammar Schools. Then he insisted there was a ‘hopelessness’ about calls for more grammars because they represented the idea that ‘this country will only ever be able to offer a decent education to a select few’. TRUE TO FORM HE IS NOW MAKING A CYNICAL POLITICAL ANNOUNCEMENT. He has not actually stolen UKIP Policy. He hasn’t really promised anything concrete, which is business as usual for this Prime Minister. It is so important because social mobility has been falling for over 40 years since Labour set about destroying the Grammar School system. The Tories have spent decades reinventing everything but Grammar Schools.
